KITSMUN’24 Poster Unveiled at KITS Warangal Campus

 The anticipation for the Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Warangal's Model United Nations (KITSMUN’24) reached new heights as the poster for the event was officially launched at the administrative block of the KITS Warangal campus. Scheduled to take place from March 22nd to March 24th, 2024, the three-day academic simulation promises to immerse students in the intricate world of global diplomacy.

Principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy expressed his enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its significance in providing students with a platform to delve into real-world issues through the lens of international diplomacy.

The poster launch ceremony was graced by distinguished personalities including administrative officer Prof. P. Ramesh Reddy, Head of CSED Prof. P. Niranjan Reddy, Dean of Student Affairs Prof. V. Shankar, Associate Dean of Student Affairs Sri. M. Narsimha Rao, Faculty In-Charge of Literary and Extramural Club Sri. Siripuram Ramesh, and Head of Physical Sciences Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary, among others.

Former Rajya Sabha Member and Chairman of KITSW Governing Body, Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, along with Treasurer Shri. P. Narayana Reddy and former MLA of Husnabad constituency & KITSW Additional Secretary Vodithala Sateesh Kumar, commended the efforts of the Literary Club-SAC and the team of student representatives for their dedication towards organizing KITSMUN’24.

During the event, Prof. P. Ramesh Reddy emphasized the rigorous preparation undertaken by the students, who extensively researched new countries and tackled pressing global issues. Topics on the agenda include non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction with a focus on laser weaponry and hypersonic missiles of Russia, discussions on international humanitarian law violations amidst large-scale civilian protests in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, and a review of corruption in the state of Telangana.

The presence of various dignitaries, faculty members, staff, and enthusiastic student representatives underscored the importance of KITSMUN’24 as a platform for fostering critical thinking and global awareness among the youth.

కిట్స్ వరంగల్ లో లిటరరీ క్లబ్, స్టూడెంట్ యాక్టివిటీ సెంటర్ (SAC), కాకతీయ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీ & సైన్స్ వరంగల్ (KITSW)చే నిర్వహించబడుతున్న మోడల్ యునైటెడ్ నేషన్స్ '24:కిట్స్‌-మన్‌ వర్షన్ 6.0 నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
మార్చ్ 22 నుండి 24 వరకు మూడు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహిస్తారని  ప్రిన్సిపల్ ప్రొఫెసర్ కె. అశోక రెడ్డి వెల్లడించారు.
  మూడు రోజుల అకడమిక్ సిమ్యులేషన్ లో  వివిధ దేశాల నుండి విద్యార్థి ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొంటారని తెలిపారు.
