Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, who had been recorded on camera slapping a fan in August, was caught in the act again.
Vijayawada:Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna was caught on camera this morning assaulting a fan who
accidentally pushed against him during a political rally. The film star, who is a senior leader of the
ruling Telugu Desam Party or TDP, was on a door-to-door campaign in the Anantpur district of Andhra
Unperturbed by the slap, the 57-year-old went on with the business of political reach-out. The video,
captured by a bystander from a terrace nearby, is doing fervent rounds on social media.

Balakrishna is a serial offender. In August, the actor-politician was caught on camera slapping a fan
who tried to grab a quick selfie with him while he campaigned for an important election in Nandyal, 200
kms from the IT hub of Hyderabad.
Days before that, he was filmed slapping his assistant and making him tie his shoe-lace on the sets of
Telugu film “Jai Simha”.
“Balayya” as the actor-politician is popularly known, is the son of legendary actor and former Chief
Minister NT Rama Rao or NTR. He is the brother-in-law of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. His daughter
is married to the Chief Minister’s son.
In 2004, Balakrishna was accused of shooting at a producer at his home. The star claimed that he had
acted in self-defense; the producer later denied in court that he had been shot at by the actor, which
led to Balakrishna’s acquittal.
